Spring Cleaning!

This weekend, Nate and I decided to clean. We had big plans, which involved the office, the basement, a trip to the dump (with an imaginary pick-up truck), and a haul to Good Will.

We got as far as the office. Even that was no small feat! The office closet was crammed full of who knows what. And don't get me started on the armoire and desk... We cleared out two enormous trash bags of clothes for Good Will. We also threw out three enormous bags of crap. The hallway was an obstacle course with all the piles and bags and empty boxes!

We did not meet our goal of getting rid of the mirrored closet doors (YET), and we didn't even start on the basement. But the office looks great, and we both feel relieved. As a side note, Nate saw a little mouse wandering lost in the office this morning. It seems we have uprooted his lifestyle, and he was sure where to go. Hopefully, his next stop will be the trap I am setting tonight!

To celebrate our cleaning success, Nate and I went for dinner with our friend at The Wine Market in Baltimore. It's a small menu, but the wine selection is fantastic! We really enjoyed our evening out.
