The Incredibles Halloween

Last year for Halloween, Laura wanted Gavin and herself to dress up as Dash and Violet from "The Incredibles." At that time I was very pregnant with Paul, and suggested to Laura that she might want to hold off on her Incredibles Halloween until Paul could join us as Jack-Jack, and we could all dress up as a family. So fast forward a year, and Laura wouldn't stop talking about our whole family dressing up as The Incredibles. So guess who found five matching costumes online. Worth every penny.
We all had so much fun- even Paul didn't take his mask off all night!  We all agree we "won" Halloween this year.  Nate was feeling especially smug - earlier in the day I had told him he was the best husband ever, all night he was dressed as Mr. Incredible, and everyone we met along the way reminded him of how awesome our family is.  We are pretty incredible!

We ended up at Boordy the next day to see some friends.  Guess what my incredible family wore again. Yup, pretty incredible!

October 2014

We had an "Incredible" October, but the joke behind that gets its own post in a minute here.  First, I'd just like to show off my adorable pumpkin bunnies from this past October.

These first pictures are from our trip to the Cider Mill Farm.  Laura and Gavin each picked one (tiny!) pumpkin to take home.

Here are the pumpkins they each chose!

A few weeks later, we did the whole pumpkin patch experience at Applewood Farm, with the tractor ride to the pumpkin patch, and the choo-choo ride and everything!

And in between pumpkin picking, we spent a lot of time on our swing set.

And we also had a great visit with Mandy & Guzel at Boordy!  I'm not sure how we didn't get a picture of all of us, but I did get this great selfie of me and my little pumpkins!

All in all, it was a fun month with some gorgeous sunny, Fall weather.  We were glad to spend so much time outside!

September 2014

September was a bit of a quieter month for our crazy family.  We celebrated our friend's 5th birthday at his house.
Paul turned 6 months old:
The Orioles clinched their division - and we were there!

We rolled down hills:
We celebrated Aunt Torie's birthday (and got to see Grammy, too!)
A quiet month, but we enjoyed it very much all the same!
