Wild Thing Turns ONE!

We celebrated Paul's 1st birthday with a "Where the Wild Things Are" themed brunch.  Paul dressed the part of Max, while his big sister and brother gleefully rumpused through the day.  Paul is so loved by us all - he is the happiest baby, always ready with a smile!  At one year old, Paul is walking, babbling, clapping and climbing up stairs (but not down).  Paul weighs about 22 pounds, as of his one-year check-up in March, and is completely healthy.  He loves, loves, LOVES all food, and eats large quantities throughout the day.  He also transitioned very easily to cows milk from formula, and drinks at least three large bottles of milk a day.  He's our little Wild Thing, and we love him!

February 2015 Recap

We started February by celebrating Grandpa's, Uncle Taylor's, and Aunt Jenny's birthdays. Grandpa had a "big" one, so we took him to see a Villanova basketball game!  Laura and Gavin had a sleepover with their cousin, and then Gavin got to go to the game with Mom & Dad.

Baby Jake was at the game, too!  Gavin and Jake each got a real Villanova basketball.
Gavin also got a huge foam finger - the best souvenir ever!  He was sweet enough to get one for Laura, even though she didn't go to the game.  After the game, we all met up for a BIG family dinner at Ralph's - such a delicious and fun evening!
For Valentine's Day this year, the kids each made Valentine's for their classmates, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.  There were a lot of colorful hearts floating around the house for a few days.
Grammy sent matching jammies for the boys for Valentine's this year.  They look so cute in their BWI-->LAX jammies!
And Captain America, of course, made two appearances to deliver love to our family.

We went to Red Robin for Valentine's dinner as a family.  Super romantic atmosphere!  But the kids had a great time.

And it snowed again! The flakes were so pretty, wafting down in the night.
We were up bright and early to play in the snow. We were hoping to build a snowman, but the snow just wasn't quite sticky enough.
As it turns out, I never ended up getting a snowsuit for Paul.  We thought the tiger costume would work just as well!  Paul was a nice, toasty warm, snow tiger for the day!
