It's a zoo out there!

Dad was away for a few days, leaving Mom to fend for herself against the wild animals that are her three kids - us! So it only made sense that she take us to the National Zoo in DC for an afternoon! Mom had a plan that included meeting up with a few friends, so she wouldn't be alone at a zoo with three wild animals children.  But when do plans ever go, well, according to plan?  Ha!  We wandered the zoo for a few hours before we FINALLY found Mom's friend Ms. Ana, who has recently returned to the US from several years abroad.  It's funny, because Ms. Ana "knows" me and my brothers really well for someone who had never actually met us before!  We had ice cream with Ms. Ana before she hopped in the car with us to head over to U Street to see the other friends.  We met up with them, inadvertently watched the end of the Pride Parade, ate some dinner (Gavin had duck!), and finally drove home to see Daddy.  It was a great trip!  I loved the pandas best!  Otters say "peep peep" to each other!
